Here are the block of courses our advisors will receive as part of becoming a Script2Hollywood BDCTTA. This is only available to Script2Hollywood (BDCTTA) partners.

1.1 Microsoft Office Suite  (90 days)

In this course, you will learn how to use all the basic and advance features of Excel, Word, Word Advance, PowerPoint and Outlook. This course will help prepare you to succeed in presenting professional documents in the real world and your studies.

1.2 Introduction to Computers and Office Productivity Software    (15 hours)

In this course, you will learn the following essential computer skills for the digital age:

• Major hardware components of a computer system
• Different types of software on a computer system
• Photo Editing using GIMP
• Word processing applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint

1.3 Introduction to Computers and Operating Systems and Security     (16 hours)

This course forms part of a series of courses that offers a good starting point for a career in cybersecurity.  It will help you gain knowledge and skills related to Computers and Operating Systems, Enterprise Systems, and Security, including Business Systems Applications.

2.1 Network Security & Database Vulnerabilities    ( 17 hours)

This course gives you the background needed to understand basic network security.  You will learn about Local Area Networks, TCP/IP, the OSI Framework and routing basics.  You will learn how networking affects security systems within an organization.  You will learn the network components that guard an organization from cybersecurity attacks.

2.2 Digital Marketing Certification    (90 days)

Digital Marketing Strategy & Planning

This Specialization explores the foundational areas of Digital Marketing Strategy required to become a skilled digital strategist in any industry and sector. By taking this Specialization with the Digital Marketing Institute, you will understand the forces driving and transforming businesses today and how an effective digital strategy can help a business grow and thrive in this dynamic environment.

2.3 Business Foundation Certification   (6 months)

In this Specialization, you’ll develop basic literacy in the language of business, which you can use to transition to a new career, start or improve your own small business, or apply to business school to continue your education. In five courses, you’ll learn the fundamentals of marketing, accounting, operations, and finance. In the final Capstone Project, you’ll apply the skills learned by developing a go-to-market strategy to address a real business challenge.

3.1 Emerging Technologies: From Smartphones to IoT to Big Data Specialization  Certification   (3 months)

This Specialization is intended for researchers and business experts seeking state-of-the-art knowledge in advanced science and technology. The 4 courses cover details on Big Data (Hadoop, Spark, Storm), Smartphones, Smart Watches, Android, iOS, CPU/GPU/SoC, Mobile Communications (1G to 5G), Sensors, IoT, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LP-WAN, Cloud Computing, AR (Augmented Reality), Skype, YouTube, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, MPEG-DASH, CDN, and Video Streaming Services. The Specialization includes projects on Big Data using IBM SPSS Statistics, AR applications, Cloud Computing using AWS (Amazon Web Service) EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud), and Smartphone applications to analyze mobile communication, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth networks.

3.2 Information Technology (IT) and Cloud Fundamentals Certification (7 months)

In today’s connected world, core knowledge of IT hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies is vital for almost every function, or role within an organization. IBM AI Foundations for Everyone Specialization   40 Hours

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer science fiction. It is rapidly permeating all industries and having a profound impact on virtually every aspect of our existence. Whether you are an executive, a leader, an industry professional, a researcher, or a student – understanding AI, its impact and transformative potential for your organization and our society is of paramount importance.

This specialization is designed for those with little or no background in AI, whether you have technology background or not, and does not require any programming skills. You will become acquainted with terms like Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Neural Networks.
